Richard Avelar & Associates provided services for two separate repair phases for the Smith Ranch Homes reconstruction project. For the seismic, structural and fireblocking repair work, RA&A provided Construction Management Services that included review of construction drawings, specifications and documents prepared by Danmeier Architects. RA&A provided construction contract and schedule monitoring during the reconstruction and provided building inspection services for the City of San Rafael. Because the repairs required that homeowners move out of their units during the reconstruction period, RA&A provided Homeowner Representation Services to assist with the move and coordinate repairs between the contractor and individual homeowners. For the re-roofing project, RA&A prepared construction drawings and specifications, issued the drawings and specifications for contractor bidding, assisted the HOA in selecting a qualified roofing contractor and provided construction administration during the roof repair process.
